The captain of Galatasaray had a phenomenal finish to grant his team the ticket to the Turkish Cup semifinals.

A tremendous fourth quarter performance by Sinan Guler along with the powerful double-double courtesy of Tibor Pleiss led Galatasaray to a 77 – 71 victory over Darussafaka Dogus in the last Turkish Cup quarterfinal match.

The captain of the “Cimbom” scored nine out of his 17 points in the last four minutes of the game helping his team transform the score from 61 – 60 to 73 – 68 with 17 seconds to go, thus sealing his team’s win.

He also served 6 assists and grabbed 6 rebounds while Pleiss registered a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds. The German big guy was the main sources of danger of Galatasaray for the first 30 minutes, dominating the opposing frontline while also countering the action of Brad Wanamaker (24 points, 7 assists) and Will Clyburn (12 points).
