Yesilgiresun officially announced the addition of Serbian forward Ivan Marinkovic. The 23-year-old player signed a one-year contract with the Turkish club.
Marinkovic comes from a breakthrough season with Zadar in ABA League. He was the championship’s top scorer in accumulative numbers (443 points in 25 games) and had the second best average (17.7 points per game) behind Ante Zizic (20 p.p.g in 13 games) who left for Darussafaka Dogus midway through the season. Marinkovic also posted 6.1 rebounds and 1 assists per game.
Yesilgiresun also announced the transfers of Turkish center Dusan Cantekin (two-year deal) and Croatian forward Tomislav Gabric (for the next season).
