He has passed the medical review and he will start practicing under coach Bartzokas. Munford will get the role and the minutes of injured Alex Renfroe.
Munford has started the season in the Greensboro Swarm, the affiliated team of the Charlotte Hornets, of the NBA D-League. He has played a total of 30 games with an average of 18.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game. He has also participated in the All-Star of the D-League, being one of the outstanding players of the league.
He was not picked in the 2014 Draft and has since played 122 D-League matches in two different teams: the Bakersfield Jam – affiliated team of the Phoenix Suns – and the Greenboro Swarm. He also played in the NBA for the Memphis Grizzlies.
