Sinisa Mali, the Mayor of Belgrade, sent a letter to Euroleague CEO Jordi Bertomeu in which he express the desire of Serbia’s capital to host the Euroleague Final Four 2018 or 2019.
Mali writes: “On behalf of Belgrade I extend special thanks for giving us the great honor to be guests of our city. We hope that you have seen Belgrade under the right light and you left with positive impressions. Belgrade is a city with a big heart for sports and our sincere desire is to host major sporting events. We would like to formally confirm the intention of Belgrade to host the Euroleague final tournament in 2018 or 2019”.
