Lojeski, Milutinov and Printezis are going to miss the game and Spanoulis is doubtful, while Young is going to miss the rest of the season. The last three also missed the game against Cedevita in Croatia, while Lojeski didn’t play in the second half. The “red-and-whites” were able to pull through that time, but against Laboral the game is not going to be easy. The Basques can struggle for the win and at least defend the 6,5-point handicap.
The previously unbeaten in the Euroleague Malaga count three consecutive defeats (two of those in the Spanish championship). On the other side, Maccabi will surely be different after the arrival of Tabak. They are playing one of their last cards in Spain and they can win or at least fight to defend the 5,5-point handicap.
Milano are going to face Efes, playing with their back against the wall. They have only one win and that took place on the opening day of the season, and they look like they have bad chemistry. It’ll be hard for them to cope against the Turkish team who are in form and are aiming toward a spot in the top 2. The 2,5-point handicap is small and Efes will probably win by a greater margin.
Also, Milano’s point limit is very large (75,5). In no other game, aside from the one against Laboral, have the Italians scored more points, and they’re actually a fair way off (73, 66, 68 and 65 points). Efes’s defense is very good and Milano are not likely to score more.
Real have only two wins after six games and they definitely have to recover immediately in order to finish as high in the ranks as possible. Their work in Belgrade is not going to be easy, but Crvena Zvezda are going to find it hard to stay in the fight for the win until the end. The handicap is relatively high, but the Madrilenos can win by more than 8,5 points.
