In an interview for Russian website RSport.Ru, Giorgos Bartzokas discussed his plans for the upcoming season, stating that his desire is to continue coaching in the highest level of European basketball.

“To be honest, I want to coach in a Euroleague club”, he said when asked if he will remain in Krasnodar for the upcoming season .”I believe that I have earned the right with my work. But that is not the main issue, since in Krasnodar I lived far from my family. The biggest problem was that there was no school for my daughter. She is six years old and it was hard to be far from each other. However, no matter what will happen, I want to say that I love Lokomotiv Kuban and everyone that works in the club”.

Apart from himself, the players of Lokomotiv Kuban have many offers in their hands by other teams. “It’s natural to see all the rumors about members of the team after the year we had”, commented the 2013 Euroleague champion. “Before the season began, many of these players were not known but know they have proven their worth. This is the result of hard work. All of our players have been offered excellent proposals now, because they deserve it. I know that Delaney (as Eurohoops reported) and Randolph have pretty good offers from the NBA”.
