Mantas Kalnietis with 14 points led the team effort of EA7 Emporio Armani Milano on the way to the crucial 78-67 win in Game 5 over Umana Reyes Venezia.

The hosts have now a 3-2 lead and need one more win in order to qualify for the finals. The last quarter started with Venezia making it a three points game (63-60), but couldn’t get any closer after that. Seven player of the winners scored at least 9 points and four of them (Kalnietis 14 p., Cerella 12 p., Sanders 11 p., Lafayette 10 p.) scored in double digits.

Young gun Stefano Tonut with 13 points was the leading scorer of Venezia, Melvin Ejim added 12 points, however Venezia couldn’t keep up in the last quarter.
