And this is why the raving welcome he received by fans in the first station of CSKA Moscow for the Euroleague China tour that took place in the city of Chengdu, cannot be considered a surprise.
Don’t forget that basketball maniacs around the globe that might had been unfamiliar with Milos some months ago, couldn’t help being enchanted with the magic he brought in the Olympic Games basketball tournament.
Even though he didn’t participate in the victory of his team against local Sichuan Blue Whales, spectators were way too excited with simply seeing him up close. I mean… just look at their facial expressions. There’s some sheer happiness there, isn’t it?
The adoration by Chinese fans is so real that it… transcends borders. Someone even brought a Serbian flag in the game.
CSKA Moscow is facing Guangdong Tigers in Shenzhen on Friday.
