Gaziantep became the perfect… victim for Darussafaka Dogus to take out all its angst after the Euroleague home defeat vs Olimpia Milano. Under a defensively disciplined and focused performance for 40 minutes, coach Blatt’s players won 81 – 56 registering their second victory after three games in this season’s Turkish league.

Will Clyburn and Oguz Savas undertook most of their team’s offensive workload, scoring 16 and 13 points respectively, with the latter also grabbing 5 rebounds. Adrien Moerman (9 points, 8 rebounds), Dairis Bertans (9 points) and James Anderson (9 points) added a solid peace to their Darussafaka’s victory.

Coach Dedas probably expected his players to be a bit more competitive but Gaziantep couldn’t hope for much shooting with 28% from the field. Andy Rautins dropped 17 points and got 7 rebounds, while Deyan Ivanov added 12.
