The injury that Giorgos Printezis suffered last night in the EuroLeague game between Zalgiris Kaunas and Olympiacos Piraeus isn’t as serious as initially feared.

Today, the Greek forward of the Reds underwent an MRI examination on his left knee which revealed a swelling on his bone plus a minor medial collateral ligament stretch injury.

Printezis is expected to miss 10 to 15 days of action with Olympiacos, meaning that he will be definitely absent from the two upcoming EuroLeague games of Olympiacos against Crvena Zvezda (at home) and Brose Bamberg (on the road) and is questionable for the last match of the regular season vs Fenerbahce in Piraeus.
