Eurohoops had already picked the favorites to compete in the first ever VTB United League All-Star Game which will be held on February 12 in Sochi But we, as everyone, must listen to the will of the ones for whom this basketball party is going to be organized: The fans.

Eurohoops had already picked the favorites to compete in the first ever VTB United League All-Star Game which will be held on February 11 in Sochi But we, as everyone, must listen to the will of the ones for whom this basketball party is going to be organized: The fans.

The fan voting, which was wrapped up on January 9, produced 65 final candidates to play in the All-Star Game. As part of the Media voting procedure, Eurohoops’ staff created two 12-men squads, one for the “World Stars” team and the other for the “Russian Stars” team with our choice of players we consider prime All-Star material!

You may notice some surprising exclusions (which we mention) but we were also bound by rules. For example, no squad must include more than two players from the same team (we love you Kyle, sorry!) and each group must be balanced with more or less equal numbers of backcourt and frontline players.
