Double blow for Iberostar Tenerife that will have to proceed in its Liga Endesa and Champions League obligations minus two players. With different reasons being behind each case.
While Canadian veteran Carl English says farewell to the club and is on his way to Alba Berlin (according to Gigantes Del Basket), after the termination of his contract, bad luck struck Nicolas Richotti once again this season.
Richotti suffered a fracture on his left knee and the medical examinations showed that he will have to stay out of action for 2-3 months, depending on how his rehabilitation is progressing.
The team is currently performing exceedingly well in the Spanish League, where it stands at a 8-2 record being second in the standings, and is dominating in Champions League (first in Group D with a 5-2 record).
