The 37 years old forward Elton Brand has signed a one-year deal to return to the Philadelphia 76ers, as The Vertical reports, in order to be a mentor for the young members of the team.
The No 1 pick of the 1999 NBA draft will be playing his 18th NBA season and returns to the Sixers after announcing his retirement from basketball in August 2015. However new Sixers CEO Jerry Colangelo signed Brand in January to take a leadership role in the Sixers’ locker room and be a mentor to the younger players of the roster.
Of course this include Croatian forward Dario Saric who is going to make his NBA debut this season.
