Darius Adams scored 41 points and led – the fourth in the Liga Endesa standings (20-8) – Laboral Kutxa to the 108-97 road win over the eighth Fuenlabrada (15-14). The American guard had a stellar first half in which he scored 30 points.

Of course its was his best ever game and those 30 points were made with stellar efficiency, as he had 7/8 two-point shots, 4/6 threes and 4/5 free throws for a total of a 30 ranking. He is the third player who scored more than 40 points in Liga Endesa the last decade after Gerald Fitch (41, 2009) and Jacob Pullen (42, 2014). Of course this is the best scoring performance of the season in Spain.

Adams became the first player of Laboral Kutxa who scored 41 points after Joe Arlauckas 25 years ago in 1991. Argentinian Louis Scola scored 40 points for Laboral Kutxa back in 2002.

Adams was the top scorer of the game, however veteran Croatian guard of the hosts, Marko Popovic, had also an amazing game with 36 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and a total ranking of 45!
