ABA League clubs held a teleconference on Wednesday and analyzed the current situation in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has halted all ABA competitions until further notice.
The clubs unanimously set the objective to conclude the 2019-20 season, in accordance with the recommendations of the relevant health authorities and local governments, as mentioned in the league’s announcement that followed the meeting.
At the same time, ABA League will also consider potential alternative competition systems that could be activated only if the circumstances would so require and it will be discussed upon at the ABA League Assembly.
