FMP held a double-digit lead multiple times throughout the game and, despite Mornar Bar’s tenacity to bounce back each time, the team from Belgrade grabbed a 94-92 win.

Rados Seslija scored the game-winning floater (his only points in the game) 20 seconds before the final buzzer while Filip Covic and Nemanja Nenadic led the way with 26 and 21 points respectively.

Covic had an all-around performance by also dishing eight assists, grabbing six rebounds, and stealing the ball three times. He also drew eight fouls for a total PIR of 32.

For Mornar, Isaiah Whitehead banked in 25 points in addition to Derek Needham’s 16 and Taylor Smith’s 15 points.

This loss put Mornar in a difficult position when it comes to the race for the Final Four ticket as they now hold a 17-6 record. Igokea got the better of Cibona to improve to 19-4 while Crvena Zvezda and Buducnost stand at 18-3. Cedevita Olimpija has 16-4.
