After losing the game in Zagreb to Cedevita, Crvena Zvezda protested the result. According to the Serbs “14 grave mistakes were made by referees” culminating with Babic intentionally missed free throw 2,6 secs before the end.

The ball didn’t touch the rim, therefore Zvezda believes that the clock should have stayed still and they should have 2,6 secs to inbound the ball and try to get a better shot off, than the one Gal Mekel took. Also the fact that Slovenian referee Damir Javor (photo) was once again appointed to this game made Zvezda furious, since Javor was the ref in their last eight games in Zagreb against Cedevita and Zvezda lost seven of them.
