As “Novosti” has reported the contract of Sofoklis Shortsanitis in Crvena Zvezda is in danger in the next few days it’s more than possible for the player to be released by the team. In order for this to happen, a buy out must be negotiated. In the meantile the Serbian club is in a turmoil after the recent bad results and the injury of Luka Mitrovic.
Most foreighn players are under the microscope and that goes also for Sofoklis who hasn’t played according to his potential so far. The side of the player is not informed yet about the possibility of the team releasing him, however the next days are expected to be crucial and “Sofo” will not be on the team’s roster for today’s game against Metalac (26/10) for the Adriatic league.
