Dubai entering the EuroLeague could be connected with the ABA League, but the Adriatic competition is still to take its stance on the UAE team entering.
Even though there were various reports about the ABA League deciding against Dubai, the truth is that the Assembly of the competition is yet to take place, so the vote couldn’t be taken.
“I don’t know where that rumor came from because there was no ABA League assembly, so there couldn’t have been a vote,” ABA League director Milija Vojinović briefly stated for Meridian Sport.
The decision about Dubai participating in the ABA League is yet to be made, and therefore the decision of the UAE team participating in the EuroLeague.
