Nedovic lifts Crvena Zvezda past FMP to Serbian Cup semis

FMP gave Crvena Zvezda a run for their money before the latter grabbed the semifinals ticket.

Nemanja Nedovic scored 20 points including the win-sealing free throws as Crvena Zvezda moved past FMP 80 – 75 and on to the Serbian Radivoj Korac Cup semifinals.

Nedovic went 2-2 from the line to make it 80 – 75 with a few seconds to play and secure his team’s victory. Dejan Davidovac had previously hit a decisive triple to put Zvezda up 78 – 73 and push back an FMP comeback effort from down 71 – 60 in the fourth period.

Davidovac finished with 15 points while Adam Hanga contributed 13 points and eight rebounds to Red Star‘s win.

Former Zvezda center Ognjen Kuzmic posted 18 points and 15 rebounds for FMP. Nikola Saranovic scored 17.

Zvezda will face Cacak 94 in the semifinal Friday (16/2).
