A report by Sportal was confirmed by Partizan as the club admitted that three players were involved in a brawl on Sunday night after the ABA League game against Mega.
According to the report four players, Carlik Jones, Sterling Brown, Isaac Bonga, and Frank Ntilikina were in the nightclub, celebrating their win.
In the footage leaked from the incident which happened outside the nightclub, Jones is presented to smash a bottle on the head of a Serbian man, who allegedly used racial slurs against the women who accompanied Partizan’s players.
Per the press release: “KK Partizan Mozzart Bet confirms that three players found themselves last night in the middle of an incident that happened not far from a well-known Belgrade night club.
According to the information received from the players, they were racially insulted by a group of boys, while girls from their company were called the most derogatory names simply because of the fact that they accompanied black men.
When everyone thought the incident was over verbally, the same group of guys waited for the Partizan players in front of the Club after they left and physically attacked them. As a result of the attack, they retaliated against the attackers.
As citizens, after receiving a summons from the authorities, the Partizan players will go to give their statements.
All internal matters of KK Partizan Mozzart Bet will be resolved in accordance with the Club’s internal code of conduct”.
