Dubai climbs to the top of Group A of the ABA League after a tough win on the road. Golemac’s team beat Cluj-Napoca (93-110) in Dzanan Musa’s return. The Bosnian star was sidelined for the last three months due to a knee injury.
McKinley Wright (24) and Mfiondu Kabengele (24) were the top scorers. Musa got 13 points in 11 minutes in his return. Boogie Ellis, Davis Bertans, and Matt Ryan did not play.
Good first half for Dubai on the road. McKinley Wright pushed Golemac’s team before the break in Romania with 19 points (52-56).
They increased the pace in the third quarter. Kabengele and Dwayne Bacon stepped up when the team needed to secure the win on the road (93-110) against one of the best teams in ABA.
