Buducnost guard and former NBA champion Norris Cole tweeted his thoughts on what transpired before and during the ABA League championship game between his team and Crvena Zvezda a few minutes after the end of the match.

“@ABA_League that was the worst most unprofessional game/environment!!! The worst!!,” Cole wrote following his team’s loss.

The last ABA Final had to be delayed after an attack on Buducnost players who were forced to exit the court before even beginning the team warmup. The Montenegrin side mentioned that “coins, phone batteries, tones, full bottles, broom parts, lighters, chairs”  were thrown at the players.

An incident took place during Cole’s pre-warmup shooting when the player angrily threw the ball at a person near the courtside seats, according to a video that surfaced. No details have yet to be revealed as to why Cole acted like that and if the person said something to the player before.

Cole’s Buducnost was sanctioned by ABA League due to fans of the Montenegrin team hurling objects at Red Star players and spitting on them in Game 4 of the series.
