Jayson Granger suffered a left foot contusion on Thursday against Joventut Badalona. However, he may immediately return to the court helping KIROLBET Baskonia in the Final Four of the concluding stage of the 2019-20 ACB season.

The 30-year-old guard has been on the wrong side of lengthy absences due to injuries in the past but steers clear from a similar situation following his early exit from fifth and final game of the preliminary round.

The resumption of the Spanish league following the hiatus, in response to the coronavirus pandemic, drew Baskonia in Group A and ultimately saw the Basque club progress to the semifinals alongside FC Barcelona thanks to a 3-2 W-L tally.

Granger put up 5 points, 3.6 assists, and 1.6 rebounds per game through those five contests after being held on the injury list for the vast majority of the season prior to the decision to halt the action.

Dusko Ivanovic’s side now awaits further evaluation to determine his status ahead of Sunday’s semifinal versus the team that tops Group B.
