The high council of Spanish sports (CSD) started an investigation in order to check the financial records of the Spanish basketball federation (FEB).
According to the Spanish newspaper “El Mundo” the president of CSD Miguel Cardinal, confirmed the investigation “for alleged corrupt practices”. The Spanish federation announced that they will cooperate in the investigation and also that currently the vice president Juan Manuel Martín Cano is the acting president, because president Jose Luis Saez is on leave of absence due to illness.
