Happy birthday Gigantes! The historic Spanish magazine celebrated 30 years of dedication to basketball. That called for a celebration, that took place in a Gala called “Gala Awards XXVIII”. Yes, during the festivities, lots of people affiliated with our favorite sports got the “G” award of Gigantes. Among the many many winners (which you can read here), Real Madrid got the award for being the best team, Unicaja Malaga was named the club with the best fans, Adam Waczynski from Obradorio won the “Best Rookie” award, Jaycee Carroll was chosen as the best foreign player in Liga Endesa, while Dino Radja won the “Legend” award.
A special moment during the night was definitely when Kyle Kuric got his own award, winning the most important battle of them all, while also giving an emotional speech.
