The ACB released the annual Tanteo list on Tuesday.
In the case of reaching a deal with a Liga Endesa team, these players have rights held by a specific Spanish club. The parent club has the right of first refusal, presenting an option to match a deal between the respective player with another club in the league, similar to NBA teams with restricted free agents.
After an interested team submits required paperwork, the parent club can match the offer within five calendar days. The deadline for players on the Tanteo list is on Sunday, July 20.
However, several players on the most recent Tanteo list have already completed moves to teams outside the ACB, lacking any further implications.
In each case, the parent club is the previous ACB team with the right of first refusal.
