Since the very first moments after earning the promotion back to the ACB League, Real Betis Baloncesto has been experiencing several noteworthy occurrences.
While it’s still not clear whether the team will come back to the Spanish first division or Coviran Granada will maintain their position in the ACB, Real Betis doesn’t exist anymore with such a name.
The team from Andalucia has changed both its logo and name, bringing back “Baloncesto Sevilla” nine years later since changing the name to Real Betis.

Earlier in the day, the team announced Fundación Cajasol to return as financial support, while also extending the contracts with Vitor Benite, David Jelinek, and Mark Hughes.
Representing Sevilla with the green-red-and-white crest, Kristaps Porzingis, Tomas Satoransky, Willy Hernangomez, and many other players wore these colors.
Playing in the BKT EuroCup several times, they never made it to the EuroLeague. Back in the 2010-11 season, coached by Joan Plaza, Sevilla reached the EuroCup Finals, losing to UNICS Kazan.
