The General Assembly of the ACB met in Barcelona on Tuesday in order to examine the details of the European competitions proposed by FIBA and the new Euroleague project.

As it was announced “the president of the ACB, Francisco Roca, has detailed the current problems of the two proposals and the lines according to which both the Euroleague and the FIBA Champions League projects are expected to be structured. Once analyzed and discussed the projects, the clubs have decided to postpone their final position until the evolution and full realization of those project in the near future”.

The Spanish league at this point is one of the few marquee national leagues in Europe which is not align with FIBA on this matter, following the wish of the local basketball federations.
