Andorra was the biggest surprise in the Saturday Round of the ACB. They beat Unicaja in a great offensive show. UCAM Murcia and La Laguna Tenerife are now two of the top three teams in the competition. Gran Canaria secured an important win against Breogan.
UCAM Murcia got the win against BAXI Manresa (84-65) to secure the 5-1 record and stay on top. David DeJulius is the new star in Murcia, and he was the top scorer with 22. 14 points for Alex Reyes in Manresa.
Dreamland Gran Canaria beat Breogán. Lakovic’s team was up 37-49 at the half and secured a tough win (81-92). They’re now 3-3 in a bad start in the domestic league. Wong (20) and Brussino (18) were the top scorers.
Tenerife is now 5-1 after a win against San Pablo Burgos (101-97). Vidorreta’s team and UCAM Murcia now share the top position in the ACB. Great start for the black and yellow squad. Marcelinho Huertas lead the game with 28 points and 9 assists.
In the last game of the day, MoraBanc Andorra surprised the entire competition with a huge win against two-time BCL winner Unicaja. A great start (35-19) led to the win (98-74). Stan Okoye (17) and Artem Pustovyi (16) shined against Malaga’s team.
