The Blaugrana claimed a win over Surne Bilbao after a tough, scrappy game

Since the arrival of Xavi Pascual, victories have been a constant for Barça in the Liga Endesa.

Despite several absences and the last-minute withdrawal of Jan Vesely, the Blaugrana defeated Surne Bilbao 66–71 to move to an 8–4 record. The men in black drop to 5–7 after losing for the first time on their home court.

Willy Hernangómez (19 points) and Tomas Satoransky (16 points) led the visitors.

Bassala Bagayoko was the standout performer for the hosts with 14 points.

After a first quarter dominated by the home side (25–16), Barça managed to turn the game around before halftime (33–34).

Things did not change much after the break: a very even contest, few points, and a slight advantage for Barça.

In the final quarter, Barça managed to break the game open with strong minutes from Miles Norris and Myles Cale, but it took a free-throw-heavy final minute for Xavi Pascual’s team to seal the win.
