Easy win against Casademont Zaragoza to prepare next Sundays’ Clásico against Real Madrid

By Alex Molina / info@eurohoops.net

Barça may have lost some games in the EuroLeague, but with coach Xavi Pascual, the team is still perfect in the Spanish League, and there is lots of good news.

The Barça players had no problems beating Casademont Zaragoza with a clear 100–80 win. The game felt almost like a practice before their big match against Real Madrid next Sunday.

Miles Norris played very well and scored 15 points, showing he is getting better and better. Youssoupha Fall also played great and seems to be an important player for the team now.

But the good news for Barça doesn’t end there: Toko Shengelia returned to action, proving that he doesn’t need any fine-tuning.

For Zaragoza, Jaime Rodríguez was the top scorer with 12 points.

Even though the final score looks easy, the game was not simple at the beginning. Zaragoza finished the first quarter ahead (21–22). But once Xavi Pascual found the right way to attack, Barça took control and the game became much calmer.

Earlier, Valencia Basket won easily against Surne Bilbao (72–116), and Hiopos Lleida ended their losing streak by beating Morabanc Andorra (79–87).
