Barça had the chance to complete another perfect week, but La Laguna Tenerife had other plans.

The team coached by Xavi Pascual defeated Dubai BC and ASVEL for a perfect Euroleague double round, but couldn’t defeat Txus Vidorreta’s team, that got the road win 82-89.

Jan Vesely (17 points), Miles Norris and Nico Laprovittola (14 points each) were Barça’s top scorers.

Giorgi Shermadini led the guests with 13 points.

Even though Barça had a decent lead starting the second half (49-56), the game was far from being over.

Slowly but in an unstoppable way, the away team pulled off a great comeback and managed to take control of the game already on the fourth quarter (70-74).

This 0-12 run allowed La Laguna Tenerife to transform the game into something different and somehow unexpected.

Thanks to an amazing shooting percentages from beyond the arc, the away lead went up to five (77-82), but Barça tied things up (82-82) after three free throws from Kevin Punter.

And obviously, Giorgi Shermadini and Marcelinho Huertas stepped up when mattered most. The eternal duo scored five consecutive points to give La Laguna Tenerife a definitive lead.
