In Saturday’s first game, Casademont Zaragoza secured a valuable victory against Hiopos Lleida, gradually moving further away from the relegation zone. Devin Robinson’s 27 points were enough to guarantee the win at home.
The story of the day unfolded in Lugo. In a game dominated from start to finish by Río Breogán, Aaron Best sealed MoraBanc Andorra’s victory on the road with a clutch three-pointer in the final seconds.
The shooting guard finished with 21 points, and Andorra now has a 7-19 record as they try to climb out of the bottom of the standings.
In the final game of the day, La Laguna Tenerife defeated Bàsquet Girona at home. Vidorreta’s team was without Patty Mills. Marcelinho Huertas (21 p.) and Rokas Giedraitis (15 p.) led the victory, bringing their record to 16-10. In Girona, Needham (18 p.) was the top scorer.
