The French duo scored 25 points apiece as Madrid defeated Obradoiro 114-107 on the road

Real Madrid survived a dramatic finish to beat Monbus Obradoiro 114-107 in overtime at Multiusos Fontes do Sar.

Theo Maledon finished with 25 points and seven assists, shooting 15-of-16 from the free-throw line, while Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot matched his scoring total with five three-pointers. Mikael Jantunen added 13 points and seven rebounds.

Brandon Childress led Obradoiro with 23 points, followed by Caleb Agada with 16. Joel Soriano, Yunio Barrueta and Alex Barcello scored 13 each.

Childress forced overtime with a three-pointer with 19 seconds remaining, tying the game at 99-99. Maledon missed a potential winner before Sergi Quintela’s last-second three also failed to fall. Obradoiro led 105-104 entering the final minute of overtime, but Maledon sank four consecutive free throws to put Madrid ahead. The visitors then secured the victory from the line.
