For the second time in the last three rounds of games, Shane Larkin is named MVP of the Week in the Spanish Liga Endesa.

The American guard dropped 30 points (an overall career high) shooting 7/7 2-pointers, 4/10 from beyond the arc and 3/3 from the line, dished out 6 assists and stole the ball twice to lead Baskonia in 99 – 88 road victory over Zaragoza.

While slashing through the opposing defense to supply the Basques’ demand for buckets, his radars observed when his teammates were in the right place and at the right time to score themselves, since his dimes produced 14 points.

All these in just 25 minutes he spent on the floor, each and every one of them extremely beneficial for his team, as evident by the 15 +/- with which he finished the game.

Thanks to the above numbers, he accumulated 36 in PIR, more than any other player this week in Spain.

This win was the 15th of Baskonia in the 2016/2017 Spanish League, a result that helped them rise to the fourth place of the standings after Estudiantes downed Barcelona.
