Andres Nocioni announced his retirement after the end of the season on his twitter page, with a heartfelt text.
“After so many battles, I have decided to stop busting the bottle of water against the floor every time they replace me, wetting fellow members and assistants“, states the 37-year-old humorously.
Nocioni, who has been part of Real Madrid since 2014 has had a long and successful career, with multiple honors. A Gold medal in the 2004 summer Olympics, a European championship and an Intercontinental title with Real in 2015, to name a few, have marked his career.
“I’m leaving before they kick me out,” continued El Chapu in his letter.
