The clubs, in general, are willing to give their players in the national teams, however, it remains to be seen what will be the reaction of the five Spanish clubs – Real Madrid, FC Barcelona Lassa, Baskonia, Valencia and Unicaja Malaga – which also compete in the EuroLeague.

According to the Spanish league press release: “Although Liga Endesa has not scheduled games during the periods of the national team games, the clubs have received calls for 117 players (6.5 per team) from three continents, with the consequent affectation and concern for the planning of the clubs”.
