Svetislav Pesic will be forced to coach Barcelona in the Copa del Rey quarterfinal against Baskonia (16/2) with his arm in a sling.
The Serbian coach suffered a shoulder injury following an accidental hit by Barca guard Petteri Koponen when they were preparing a play during today’s practice, per Mundo Deportivo.
Barca feared that the injury could be much more serious, but the 68-year-old coach will manage to be at the helm of the team in the quarterfinal, his second game since he returned to the club.
Pesic signed a contract until the remainder of the season with Barcelona, following Sito Alonso’s firing.
