Real Madrid forward/center Gustavo Ayon is registered to play in tonight’s (17/2) Copa Del Rey semifinal game against Iberostar Tenerife, the club officially announced.
Ayon will take the place of guard Chasson Randle in the roster of the “Blancos”.
The Mexican player had been sidelined with a left shoulder injury for which he had to undergo surgery, since early November. Ironically, he suffered that injury in a Spanish League game vs. Tenerife, against which he will return to action.
Prior to his injury, Ayon managed to play just 5 EuroLeague games during which he averaged 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists.
