All the matches of the last round were played at the same time this evening and the Liga Endesa regular season is officially over. The top eight teams clinched a playoff spot while the bottom two (Bilbao Basket, Real Betis) will be relegated.
Herbalife Gran Canaria hosted EuroLeague champs Real Madrid (Luka Doncic, Sergio Llull, Gustavo Ayon weren’t on the roster) and used that chance to secure the fifth place with an 88-78 win. Marcus Eriksson led the way with 18 points while Pablo Aguilar helped with 16. For the first-placed Madrid (30-4 record), Jaycee Carroll scored 18 points.
MoraBanc Andorra recorded an 87-69 home victory against Valencia in order to secure the sixth place while in the race for the final spot Iberostar Tenerife stayed in front after a crushing 109-62 win against Real Betis Energia Plus while UCAM Murcia fell to MovistarEstudiantes 77-71 at home.
