Real Madrid didn’t want to count on other results and secured home-court advantage throughout the ACB Playoffs with the 95-76 away victory against Delteco GBC. Fabien Causeur led the way on Sunday with a game-high 18 points. The hosts were relegated to LEB Oro with the loss alongside Cafes Candelas Breogan.
FC Barcelona Lassa finished second with the 83-63 road victory over Monbus Obradoiro combined with KIROLBET Baskonia’s 92-81 loss to Valencia. The Blaugrana will go against seventh-placed Divina Seguros Joventut in the Quarterfinals and Velimir Perasovic’s side will face Tecnyconta Zaragoza.
Despite losing its crucial affair to Zaragoza, 83-74, BAXI Manresa completed the Playoffs field and will face Real Madrid in the best-of-three Quarterfinals series due to Iberostar Tenerife’s defeat. Txus Vidorreta’s club lost 88-84 in overtime to Montakit Fuenlabrada and was eliminated.
MoraBanc Andorra was also eliminated in the final day of Regular Season action. Ibon Navarro’s team needed the “W” and some results to go its way, but dropped the away game to Unicaja Malaga, 72-66, and was taken out of contention.
