27-year old American player Demontez Stitt was found dead in his home, according to Israeli website One.co.il. The cause of his death appears to be a heart attack, though nothing has been confirmed as of now.
Stitt has spent a big proportion of his career in Europe, playing for Hapoel Tel Aviv (2011-2013), Belfius Mons-Hainut (2013-2014), Maccabi Haifa (2014-2015) and Fuerza Regia (2014-2015). He last played for Orkide Gediz a team of Turkey’s second division.
