Darussafaka GM, Mithat Demirel, mentioned on a recent interview that Sasa Obradovic didn’t want Scottie Wilbekin in Alba Berlin, as he disliked the way he played.
“Last year Scottie Wilbekin got specialized with Brad Wanamaker. And this year, he perfectly fulfilled the leadership role. I had wanted to sign him while I was working for Alba Berlin before being the GM in Darüşşafaka, but Sasa Obradovic didn’t want him”.
“Let me get this straight, I have been following him so properly that I know even how many tickets he bought for his family and friends during his college career. Even though some do not pay attention, these are critical details to see several things”, added Demirel.
