Ratiopharm Ulm fell short to EWE Baskets (84-76) in the first German Cup semifinal, though Killian Hayes got his first big “audition” for the world of NBA in a packed house.

Under the watchful eye of Toronto Raptors‘ president Masai Ujiri and several NBA scouts, Hayes posted 7 points (2/4 FG), three steals, three rebounds and two assists in his 17-minute presence on the court.

Despite the defeat, this game remains a valuable experience for the 18-year-old French guard, who is looking to make the big jump to the NBA soon.
