With two outings remaining in the easyCredit BBL Regular Season, FC Bayern Munich needs one more win to secure homecourt advantage across the Playoffs

A fourth straight win in Germany’s easyCredit BBL strengthened the grip on first place in the Regular Season for FC Bayern Munich. Seeking a double after being crowned BBL-Pokal champion in February, the team coached by Pablo Laso edged out MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg, 85-80, in MHP Arena on Wednesday evening.

Serge Ibaka dropped 20 points. Devin Booker followed with 13 points and Vladimir Lucic added ten points. Nelson Weidemann, Dino Radoncic, and Danko Brankovic did not suit up for Round 33 of the Regular Season. On the losing end, Jayvon Graves tallied 21 points.

Retaining a slim hope for the top seed and an advantage in a sprint for the second seed, ALBA jumped to a safe lead in the second quarter and settled at a 90-69 victory versus Telekom Baskets Bonn in Uber Arena. Sterling Brown paved the way with 22 points. Gabriele Procida (left knee surgery), Matteo Spagnolo (right foot surgery), Ziga Samar (left Achilles tendon), and Louis Olinde (ankle) stayed on the injury list of the Albatrosse.
