As the German BBL league announced, Phoenix Hagen officially informed that they will start bankruptcy proceedings in the district court of Hagen tomorrow.
The first result of this move will be for the team to automatically lose 4 points in the league table and it remains according to the league rules and the question is what else will happen.
According to the managing director of the league, Stefan Holz: “The consequences of this can’t be said at the moment. There was a payment plan for old debts for the club which was breached”.
