According to Spanish portal “Gigantes Del Baloncesto” the German club which has a Spanish sport director, Himar Ojeda, is trying to lure 70 years old Reneses back to action.
Alba Berlin finished the season in the sixth spot of the German BBL and needs many changes in order to become a contender again. Reneses who has a long history in building teams based on young talent, has also coached Joventut, Barcelona, Unicaja Malaga, Sevilla and most recently Gran Canaria.
