Brose Bamberg announced that the contract with former head coach Andrea Trinchieri was officially terminated on Thursday (14/6).
Trinchieri and Bamberg had parted ways back in February when the club released the 49-year-old coach following a series of losses in the German League that had brought the team in danger of missing the playoffs. He was then replaced by fellow Italian coach Luca Banchi.
Throughout his stint with Bamberg, Trinchieri led the club to three German League (2015, 2016, 2017) titles, plus the domestic Cup (2017) and SuperCup (2015) titles.
