The Eurocup Finals are ready to begin and Eurohoops.net gives you the statistical low down of the finalists. The players that have already shined are ready to fight for the cup, that also means a place in next season’s Euroleague

Everything is ready for this year’s Eurocup Finals and before tip off, we have to inform you about the leaders of each stats category from the players who will trying to get the Cup and their place at next year’s Euroleague.

236 is the best ranking a finalist concluded after regular seson, Last 16 and quarterfinals. Actually two finalists got this total: Jonas Valanciunas (Lietuvos Rytas) and Patrick Beverley (Spartak St. Petersburg). From BC Khimki, Kresimir Loncar had 196 and from Valencia Basket, Nando De Colo reached 172.

200 were the points of the best scorer and his name is Renaldas Seibutis (Lietuvos Rytas). Patrick Beverley (Spartak St. Petersburg) is second with 180 points, Kresimir Loncar (BC Khimki) third (177) and Nando De Colo (Valencia Basket), fourth (164).

110 were the most rebounds a finalist grabbed. After Jonas Valanciunas’ (Lietuvos Rytas), Sergey Monya (BC Khimki) is at No2 with 73, Nik Caner-Medley (Valencia Basket) at No3 (67) and Vladimir Dragisevic (Spartak St. Petersburg) at No4 (61).
 
35 were Jonas Valanciunas’ (Lietuvos Rytas) offensive rebounds and again this record is his. Vladimir Dragisevic (Spartak St. Petersburg) had 23, Kresimir Loncar (BC Khimki) had 20 and Serhiy Lishchuk (Valencia Basket) had 19. 

75 were -oh yes- Jonas Valanciunas’ (Lietuvos Rytas) defensive rebounds and he is the leader, with Sergey Monya (BC Khimki) having 62, Patrick Beverley (Spartak St. Petersburg) 49 and Nik Caner-Medley (Valencia Basket) 48.

78 were the most fouls a finalist drawn and this achievement belongs to Patrick Beverley (Spartak St. Petersburg). Zoran Planinic (BC Khimki) drawn 60, Renaldas Seibutis (Lietuvos Rytas) 57 and Serhiy Lishchuk (Valencia Basket) 54.

45 were the most fouls commited by a finalist. Actually two, cause Jonas Valanciunas (Lietuvos Rytas) and Miha Zupan (Spartak St. Petersburg) had the same exact number. Serhiy Lishchuk (Valencia Basket) stopped at 40 and Vitaly Fridzon (BC Khimki) 37. 

68 were the most assists dished by a guy who will play at Eurocup’s Finals and this guy is Tyrese Rice (Lietuvos Rytas). Yotam Halperin (Spartak St. Petersburg) had 65, Zoran Planinic (BC Khimki) 64 and Nando De Colo (Valencia Basket) 53. The best average belongs to Halperin (5.42 vs. Planinic’s 4.92)

28 steals were made by the leader of this list, Patrick Beverley (Spartak St. Petersburg), with Nando De Colo (Valencia Basket) coming second (22). Zoran Planinic (BC Khimki) was third with 19 and Lawrence Roberts (Lietuvos Rytas) fourth with 16.

22 block shots were written after Jonas Valanciunas’ (Lietuvos Rytas) name, with the Lithuanian having a double score over second on the list Sergey Monya (BC Khimki, 11). Serhiy Lishchuk (Valencia Basket) and Valery Likhodey (Spartak St. Petersburg) had from 9.

48 turnovers was the total of the most reckless finalist, Tyrese Rice (Lietuvos Rytas). He had +18 from the second one on this list, Nando De Colo (Valencia Basket, 30). Zoran Planinic (BC Khimki) had 29 and Patrick Beverley (Spartak St. Petersburg) had 27.

66 free throws were the most attempted all season by a finalist and it was Serhiy Lishchuk (Valencia Basket) who tried more than everybody else his luck from charity line. Patrick Beverley (Spartak St. Petersburg) had 58 chances, Tyrese Rice (Lietuvos Rytas) had 54 and Kresimir Loncar (BC Khimki) 52. Now, let’s see who was more accurate.

48 were the most free throws a player made. And this player is Tyrese Rice (Lietuvos Rytas). Second best was Patrick Beverley (Spartak St. Petersburg) with 47, Serhiy Lishchuk (Valencia Basket) was third with 46 and Kresimir Loncar (BC Khimki) fourth with 43.

118 were the most two point shots executed by a player. That guy was Kresimir Loncar (BC Khimki), who by the way was also the player who made the most two point-shots (67). Second in this category is Loukas Mavrokefalidis (Spartak St. Petersburg) with 114 attempts and 65 finding the target. Jonas Valanciunas (Lietuvos Rytas) was third (59/92) and Nik Caner-Medley (Valencia Basket) fourth (42/72).

66 were the most three pointers a finalist attempted during all season and this record belongs to Patrick Beverley (Spartak St. Petersburg). He made only 17 of them. The best in this category was Thomas Kelati (BC Khimki) with 30 made three pointers (in 59 attempts). Rafa Martinez (Valencia Basket) was second to both categories (with 22/65).
